Time is of the essence!
Well I've shifted things around with work. After another month of work I'll be going to part time work -> 19 hours every week instead of 38 hours :) I'll have contract work to fill in the gaps as well as some study I'll be doing (automotive).
Will give me a lot more time to work on other things, including WHC, which has been neglected for quite a while... I may finally finish off the admin section for WHC! In time for Natural Selection 1.1+ and half-life 2/doom 3! From a coding perspective its a walk in the park aftering spending a year+ on www.bizlinx.com.au with search engines/3 tiered admin sections and the full (from scratch) auction package I'm working on now. SO don't fret - we may have no wars at the moment. But it will get a lot lot lot busier in the next 6 months. |
well with no wars at the moment , look at it like this , where not losing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
lol studing doing automotive wot about computer programming so you can really finish the WHC webpage.....................:P j/k |
I know how to do the WHC website :) Just too stuffed after work - busy on the weekends. So time is limited at the moment.
The same code used on the WHC site runs the Admin section (very big...) of BizLinx - so it all works :) |
I've been playing a bit of Desert Combat lately - what a pisser of a game. I read it's more popular than bf1942 itself now.

If You can get ADSL, go for it, ISDN DoV will most probobly end up costing you more, I would only reccomend ISDN DoV for people who are unable to get ADSL.
I just got my 128K ISDN DoV hooked up today, i will detail the costs: SETUP: $125 ISDN Installation $100 2nd Hand ISDN DoV Modem -------- $225 Total Setup Cost Monthly Costs: $42.50 Line Rental $46.00 128K ISDN DoV $10.00? Call Costs ---------- $100.50 Total Montly Cost So as you can see, it can easily cost more than ADSL, i was going to be paying $90/pm for OzForces ADSL, but seeing as im unable to get adsl this is the next best thing. Here is some pings, traceroutes: Code:
Tracing route to web1.eon.com.au [203.17.15.197] Code:
Ping statistics for 203.17.15.197: Download speeds are 15K/s constant :) Anything else you wanna know? |
Thanks baal
I can actually get ADSL here and being in a metro area it’s a bit cheaper than regional. It’s a bit overwhelming as there are something like 60 companies offering residential ADSL in Darwin. Which somewhat blew me away because last time I checked there were only about 4 or 5! I think I’ll stick to one of the big names though. But the big question is: what's bf1942 like?! :D |
its great :D
except that i suck at it! gotta love those helicopters in DC though hehe |
