News i'm off the air :(
i had a power blackout on saturday night, and my cable modem blew up

so i'm off the air for a short time until I get a replacement..... i'm getting an old modem from a friend, so i should be back in action tonight or tomorrow night (tuesday night)

it was v sad yesterday not having cable - i kind of felt isolated.... lol.... cable is soooo goooood..... isn't it evidence

and it's v sad i can't run steam either cos no internet - how dumb is that! makes me appreciate what ppl without a permanent connection to the net say all the time.... yep, steam is bad

my CS server was busy producing nav files for the 1.6 beta bots, but it's not on UPS cos my current UPS can only hold 2 PC's, and it's my other PC's that r on it - so i can't make more nav files until i get connected again

but hopefully i'll get this replacement modem, and maybe even a bigger UPS and all will be good again soon

looks like my cable problem is more than just a busted modem.... so i might be off the air for even longer

better be fixed soon tho cos i'm starting to get the shakes

I better be on the air by friday tho!!!!

the news today is getting even worse..... i doubt i'll be up by friday

.... lol ..... this is a terrible thought.... but maybe i might have to do some dial-up.... hmmmm..... the thought strikes fear into my heart... it's been so many years on cable now

I'M ALIVE!!!!!

My modem was busted but is all fixed now, and prolly better than ever

Phew!!!!! What a relief.... and I'm so glad I didn't have to stoop so low as to resort to dial-up!!! (soz Evidence! )
