oh no, another psu packed it in
HEY
Well if a couple of months ago I made a thread called 'psu trouble' where i said my 300W dodgy psu blew up and i replaced it with a $60 400W psu... the fella i bought it off said it was a dodgy brand also, but i thought fuck it, 400w is 400w. Anyway, it ran fine for a couple of months, played some bf1942 and kicked about etc. CPU temp hovered at 47 when busy. Then just the other day i noticed cpu was at 52 and the psu felt rather hotter than usual. This was during a game of gta3...then all of a sudden, the computer shut down. Now it wont turn on, makes a slight 'burrr' noise when i press power on. Basically, its the same problem as when the old psu fucked up - i replaced it and all was well. Anyways, whats the problem here - faulty psu's or a faulty setup tha Anyway, it ran fine for a couple of months, played some bf1942 and kicked about etc. CPU temp hovered at 47 when busy.
