General 300 file limit?

Hello OzForces

Firstly I'd like to thank you for setting up this free clan hosting service. The FTP is extremely fast and has a generous idle timeout, and the sign up procedure is quick and simple. Good job guys

The only problem though is the 300 file limit. It's great having 20 MB of web space but it would be pretty difficult to fill with only 300 files. Our clan's current page is a little over 400 files and with a bit of butchering I could get it down to under 300. However, our planned upgrade is over 1800 files (under 20 MB), and you can see how it would be difficult to shrink to under 300.

Also, I know you're busy with the ADSL rollout and the new OzClans service, but is there a timeframe for when clans can apply for a MySQL database? My clan have had our OzForces CS server up for about two months, and it would be great if we could set up a little community to help organise our server. Just wondering because I was thinking of making an account on AusCstrike (I'd prefer to stay away from them...), or maybe even forking out for a commercial web host.

Thanks for your help

Okay, I have found out, that as far as Mysql database's go, you should be able to get one within a few weeks. I'll make this a prioity and try to get it done as soon as possible.

Hey Lego

Thanks for the reply . It would be great if you could increase my clan's file limit... our subdomain "uas".

And cheers for the ETA on the database feature, it will kick ass to get our new site up and running

Thanks

Hey Lego, you may as well change the default file limit with everyone, if it's possible.

I was also hoping to get mine increased as well. Our subdomain is NMB. I just makes it hard when you've got lots of gif files from powerpoint or such to upload.

Regards
