BattleStar Galacta to rise from the dead
The 70's Sci Fi Classic "BattleStar Galatca" at the time the most expensive television show ever produced (costing ~$1,000,000 USD per episode). Will return next year with a miniseries, which starts filming in March in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The show will differ greatly from the original BattleStar Galactica and deal with the BattleStar Galactica crew re-launching with the help of modern day earth to retake the Universe from the "Cylon's". Stargate premiere episodes aired
BCC 1 of the UK has aired international premieres of the next Stargate SG-1 episode "6x12 unnatural selection". It is unkown whether further episodes will air on BCC1. Previously it was thought Sci Fi Channel of the US would air all premiere episodes of Stargate this season, this would have meant that "6x12 unnatural selection" would have aired on 10-Jan-2003. Reeves Talks Matrix II
Keanu Reeves, who reprises the role of Neo in the upcoming two Matrix sequels, revealed details of a major fight to MTV.com. "It's a fight between Neo and Smith," again played by Hugo Weaving, Reeves told the site. "It takes place in the second film, [The Matrix] Reloaded, and it's basically Neo multi-fighting a bunch of different Smiths.

Farscape 4x12 Kansas to air December 30th 2002
The next Farscape episode will air on December 30th 2002 on BBC1 in the United Kingdom. It is unknown whether further "premiere" episodes will air in the United Kingdom before the United States. Sci Fi Studios set plans for the future
Many Studios have set release dates for Sci Fi movies for as far ahead as 2005. This trend started with Sony and Spiderman earlier this year when it set a release date for the Spiderman Sequel for May 2004. Among the major films bowing in May 2004 are Fox's futuristic Tomorrow on May 28, Universal's vampire picture Van Helsing on May 21, Paramount's Mission: Impossible 3 on Memorial Day weekend and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban in June, the trade reported. Harry Potter incites Religous Hatred? Moscow thinks so
The Associated Press reported that Moscow prosecutors have opened an investigation into whether the Harry Potter series of children's books incite religious hatred. The end of an Odyssey?
Odyssey 5 a premiere Sci Fi Show airing on Showtime US (sho.com) has reportedly been cancelled by the network. The show which told the story of 5 crew members of the Space Shuttle Odyssey, who witnessed the destruction of the earth from space, sent back in time 5 years to save the earth, and the human race. An interesting side note, Odyssey 5 was the highest rating premiere show on Showtime, John Doe has been renewed for another season, dispite less admiring ratings. Producers have said they will approach Sci Fi (scifi.com) to see if they will be willing to pick up the show. Source
