thats not true rem. msn now has the ability to receive messages while the receiver is offline

true, however I send the Fri Fun night spam to MSN groups rather than individuals. Anyone who's not online at the time doesn't get added to the group conversation, and will therefore miss out on the invite. MSN really needs that kind of functionality IMO. It's no good for team broadcasts.

I've got about 50 people on invite lists in MSN, and there's no way I'm doing each of them individually!

Spydy, these days on my ICQ on a Fri night I only really see mudhoney and TISM, and sometimes a couple of other old schoolers. But I wouldn't know how many ppl are still on it at other times of the week
