play 1.6 without steam thats quite a trick
- however i have been on a website that has workedout how to run 1.6 without steam. they are working on a 1.6 upgrade from 1.5

thats impossible. its like saying you can run 1.5 without WON
unless you mean tehy are playing it with a special program, onl with other people who have this program.

nope they are doing it and have posted screenies of it in action.
when your using it you carn't run it on CS 1.6 steam servers only on 1.5 servers that have been upgraded with it. at the moment they have got most of it working then sent out an email today to everyone on there forums looking for someone that could do some coding or something with some dll file then thats it apparently.

because spammers can and DO run web crawlers that look for e-mail addies and then add them to their spam lists - bly's e-mail above is invalid so no crawler will get the real one

My e-mail service transparently filters out black listed senders and titles.

And if any do, I'll add them to the account configuration independant spam list =)
