General GeForce FX Benchmarks

clicky

interesting.. I reckon the next version ATI card might be the go. Still, not too sure about the ATI drivers and compatibility.

FX kills it in Q3, beats it by less in UT, and is beaten by the ATI in the 3rd benchmark. If ATI can boost their GPU speed and/or boost the memory speed with dual channel memory (should be pretty easy), then you'd have to think it will whip the FX. Anyway, it's probably too early to tell.

Don't really judge a card until it's released

Imagine when nvidia makes their memory bus 256 bit..... fark.

good luck to them both - in the end. Consumer = winnah

yep, in fact I'm hoping the release of the FX will drive down prices on the 4200 even lower
