there was a war yesterday and i didnt know 1 little thing about it. who against and who won?

from now on i demand that we (or at least i) get told on icq before EVERY war, practice and fun night at least a few hours before. its hard for me if its within the hour or something (or if im not even told) because i share the computer with my brother and i can arrange to have the computer at a certain times (during a war) if im told in advance. otherwise he has a war at that time or i just dont get on in time to hear about it. i dont know how to end this post so ill just say nothing here.

No, my spam goes to everyone for wars, if I'm sending it, via ICQ. Additionally, there was an email sent 2-3 days before the war, reminding everyone that the GA war was on, on Thursday. I also sent out a reminder via ICQ about half an hour before it was on.

As for ICQ,

I didnt ICQ this war, but as a practice I normally do.

I have been bloody busy at work for the last 3 wars and have in 2 of the last 3 GA ladder wars, missed the start of the war.

All i can say is check ya email. There is a GA ladder war for zero pretty much EVERY week.(Sometimes one and a half weeks apart)

If your not receiving zero emails from me or have received NONE at all, then you need to send harrasing ICQs to Con, Lego or REM.

I have tonight just accepted another GA ladder war and have just forwarded on the server details.

If my spam isn't working to everyone, then someone else should spam over ICQ, definitely. As Rem and others online know, I do spam.

If anyone is online 30 mins before a war, and haven't received a spam about it, speak to myself, Oreo, Bly or Rem, and if we don't respond within a couple of minutes, please do your duty and spam spam spam.

It would be worth checking you email addresses with Con or Lego.

So for spaming MSN, ICQ and email.

I have been down this road before, regardless of what Doubt and I do to get the message out, someone always never gets it.

I beleive that Rem is training Carrier Pigions to give that a run.

ICQed spam to all zeros about 1/2 to 1 hour before the match.

Guys, you need to check yr emails with Con and Lego, If your email is correct then set up a hotmail email account. These work as I use my hotmail for almost every email. Including the ones to the zero@sgl group email.

I receive them to from hotmail comming from zero@sgl.

This communications fix is a 2 way street. Help us help you and give Lego and Con another email address if the one your using isnt working.

I've said this before and in another thread just now: we have a problem with the ZERO e-mail list. The problem is very long standing. Read my other post in the Attendance thread. I'll add a bit more relevant stuff here tho....

Some months ago we migrated the email list to a newer, fancier system where the list was generated automatically off the member profiles... if a new player came along, or one was removed, or if a member changed their own e-mail addie then the list was updated within the next hour. It worked beautifully for a few weeks, then died and that was months ago! I've been on at Conscience about it and have offered to try and updated that generated list manually (like I used to in our old system) but Con can't get access to the list - Con tells me there is a fix coming in a couple of weeks, but it's been a long time....

Conscience.. maybe u can update us on this?

So, I know any changes in the last few months aren't updated on the list, like Krim leaving (and prolly Degrees and Cokester are still on it too!) and DF and Slaide are not on the list, but Doubt is cos he made it just before the list died. I know JustinSane and prolly also Ripper and Lord_Elad have changed e-mails and prolly don't get them either.

Given Slaide and DF don't get the e-mails sent to the list, I've added then as captains so they'll get the e-mails first hand
