Im having a problem with counterstrike..

it might be..

its hard to explain, when i aim at the head it doesnt hit it, like my moniter isnt sending back the correct pictures..

is there drivers which u can get for a moniter?

also would defragging possibly help, cause cs runs a like a shit, i get 100 fps, just doesnt seem right, i got win 98 and xp, and win 98 is full of shit.

Reinstall CS.

if that fails

reinstall all of hl and counter-strike

if that fails
reinstall ur graphics card drivers..

if that fails, depending on how badly u want cs to work...

ahh thanks bud.. i tried reinstalling but it keeps all the old files, nevber asks me to put a cd key in, keeps the same res as last time i played it, i thought default is 8*6..

delete the folder tho else it'll keep the other shit, thats y it porb didnt ask u 4 cd key

ps. if u get flashbanged, turn ur moniter off, by the time u turn it back on, the flashbang would be gone, and u can see again.

what error said.. when u uninstall shit, it keeps all the saved files, and all that sort of shit.. it only removes Half-life from ur registry, and u cannot play it.. u have to compleatly delete the folders where everything was...

I don't play PC games anymore therefore I can't offer many suggestions here mate.

PS:
Check out your CS configuration settings in Config.cfg. I think you should try and play around with your Rate and Push Latency settings.

I'll ask my cousin about your problem though mate because when it came to configuring a .cfg file for CS he was the man....

lol ineq, maybe just hav his moniter sideways, if u hav the old style moniter, if u look at ur moniter from the side and from the centre, u'll relise that the crosshair is in a different place ....
if u use a flat screen moniter this wouldn't happen.
