Last Saturday night, my girlfriend and I had our Valentines celebration at a posh restaurant in the Dandenongs of Melbourne. After that we went to a "secluded" spot in the Dandenongs, where we had a romantic chat looking over the lights of Melbourne at night. I'd put a bit of planning in to the night, and the days leading up to it, and it all came together very well. I asked her to marry me - and she said YES! We're engaged! We haven't thought much about the wedding yet, but it might be in late winter or spring. We're both very happy indeed!
