Seagate Hard Drives: Predecessors and Successors...

Guys

I been doing some research on buying a few Seagate hard drives. I was at EYO and saw that they have the Seagate Barracuda's in the IV and the newer V series but my question is...

What makes the IV and the V series different because to me they seem bascially identical.
