woooohooooooooo!!!!!! unbelievable!!!! I been checking so much for this lately, and even downloaded a bit of a suspect hack that supposedly enabled the bots (didn't get to tinstall it tho, and now I won't need to!!!!)

this is excellent news.... checking for updates now..... alas it's not up yet, but i'll have it ready for friday!!!!

BTW, i won't be available on Tuesday night (18 Jan) cos i'm on holidays - taking my daughter to the beach for a few days

so there will be no action on williweb at all on Tuesday, but will be plenty of action as usual on Friday, and hopefully with cs: source!!!!

*sniff sniff*

i went looking for updates to all the various mods that i run on my server (adminmod, metamod, hookmod, statsme, headshot, and yes..... CHICKENMOD!!!!!) and alas there is no updated versions, and may be a LONG time away. Metamod is no longer, and adminmod is yet to be rebuilt using the 3rd party plug-in manager that valve is using to replace metamod, and so it may be ages away. Likewise all the other mods have to wait for this new interface, and the full release of the source sdk... and clanmod and statsme are apparently finished now - there will be no version for source..... *sniff*

so valve has done it again - looks like they stuffed up big time by not releasing a full SDK, and not getting support from adminmod and metamod and clanmod programmers... so things are going to take ages to get done.... so no more chickens, or slapping, or hooking for ages!

enough of that.... i'm going to play some cs source now

what lag?

if anything, source will be worse than CZ of course, and also I can't run ping booster on source which I did run on my other servers to increase performance - and it did work! (with less people it sent out more packets and used more CPU, then as more ppl joined it automatically cut back to closer to CS defaults)
