Hook Mod - Friday Fun Night add-in

I've just added an add-in called Hook Mod to my CS and CZ servers, so when you play on these (like on Tuesday and Friday nights), bind a key to +hook (eg. bind capslock +hook) and hold it down to fire a grappling hook and then climb up the rope - it's hilarious!!!

BTW, the server for Friday Night currently is my little bot server: williweb.mine.nu:27015.

I just tried it - it works fine? Did you select "save news" rather than "Preview news?"

yes, i hit the save button - but i didn't realise i also had to change the drop down that said "preview" - doh! Silly users!

roflmao - i love that hook mod!!! i played with it for a while last night - played on bhd_convoy2.bsp... i felt like spiderman jumping from building to building.... it cracked me up!

the hook mod is great i used it before 1.6 on a WC3 server it was sweet. i would love to be there this friday but i think i might be a little pissed when i join you . i turn 18 28th and i'm going out for some drinks lol it will be fun anywayz.

Yer i think it was darkflash who mentioned it first... ah hookmod reminds me of the old hostage jump bugs, you can now get up to all those lil cheapo spots you used to hosti jump to. lol

and u can "hostie jump" with a team mate too - get them to jump up on your head, then grapple hook them
