A Century of Spam

Hey guys, I just saw this on the GameArena website. It reminded me of my first post (a mere 451 posts ago):

"Believe it or not, we get a lot of complaints when users have the ability to post whatever they want. More users get upset when interesting threads are hijacked by spam or ripped off topic by people that are either deliberately being silly, or just not paying enough attention.

This is only a temporary measure! We will be allowing normal General Chat to take place when we think people have understood that we take this very seriously, and that we want to focus on quality of posts over quantity."

They obviously don't appreciate the joys of rearing a SpamBaby (TM).
