Lag Problems

hi'z
ive got a major annoying problem. in the last few dayz my cs has been laggin like a bitch even tho my ping is like 50 or so

ive got a
p4.2.53, 512mb ddr-333 ram, gf4 mx440, sblive 5.1, optus net cable.

the game has been working fine for a while but in the last few dayz its just gone crazy
wehn eva i go near a bunch of players it starts laggin like a bitch

plz help us out

reinstalling didnt fix the problem either

You have to refresh your memory chips, they fill up with garbage as you keep using. Sometimes, the monitor cable gets worn out too and what you see is a laggy effect because data can't get through fast enough. Ignore everything I said.

u running open GL or direct 3d?
checked your graphics options etc?
is CS the only game thats lagging?
does cs lag when you run your own server?
or just when your on the net?

refresh rate? adware? maybe you got adware shit running in the background. or a virus.

make sure your rate is at 7000-10000

u do this in console "rate 7000"

and also when u get into cs and are at the server page, look up the top and check wat connection its at. Make sure its wat u have eg. Cable - 256 k connection

yeah, make sure you dont visit porn sites and install everything they try and tell you to run, cause it will clog up your pc like a motherfucker

it dun matta what i run the game on.
i usually have it on open gl 800x600
no other games lag
only lags when playin online
rate is 9999
the cs connection speed is t1(1mb or ova) coz cable is 1mbps connection
refresh rate is on default but i tried changin that to the max as well no difference
and waht do u mean refresh ur mem chips?

oh yeah no viruses and even when there isnt a single prog runnin in bakground still lags
