 Me and a friend from America used to try all wierd and wacky character builds - a few of them turned out to be effective  He was one of the first to use amp damage and Iron golem. Was doing 1200% return damage when ever monsters hit the iron golem Then he would use corpse explosion to do some mass kills once the first one dropped. Amp would magnify that by 50% too - quite potent!Cow levels were done really quickly Fireworks of blood and gore!Now I only play hardcore - the life and death challenge is good Plus throwing weapon/warcry barb = challenging to play.Had a warcry only barb once in softcore in original diablo 2 with about +8 to all skills - funniest character to play - You would herd all the monsters in with taunt (i'm talking packs of 30-50 monsters with taunt on them) Then let a string of warcry rip - using a shitload of mana. All the monsters would be stunned from warcry and lose health from the physical damage. At the end you would use find potion on all the monsters and get all that mana back TrippY!

lol yeh I was referring to single player. Played it right through twice, once as Paladin, once as necro. The necro was excellent for most of the game, because you just summon stuff up to do all the fighting for you. The only problem was, I'd put so much XP into golems, that when I got the bosses (esp Diablo), he just stomped the golem straight away and I was left with no other way to kill him. I eventually got enough XP to level up then researched bone spear or whatever it was and nailed him with that.

I've only really played the single player. I tried the multiplayer for about 10 mins on GA but it was lagging badly and I found it a bit confusing. I think multiplayer could be good if you got right into it. It's also cool that you can download free add-on modules for it.

I get targeted for pk'ing a bit more often than other's but it usually works out.
