General Weird Slowdown Problem with Red Alert 2
I installed Red Alert 2. It runs fine.
I patch it up to latest version using patch from westwood.com.

It takes forever to load up. In game, it plays okay for 2 seconds, I click something, it pauses for 30 seconds.

I uninstall.

I install Red Alert 2. It runs fine again. I install Yuri's Revenge. Same problem as before, it lags like hell, takes forever to load up.

Anyone got any idea why?

I had that problem with Yuri's Revenge as well.. I guess you didn't buy it either..

Never did solve it. Just thought.. This sucks @ss.. Went and played other games.
