SSH (secure telnet) to WHC server. 2 hours of stuffing around to find the problem with the half life servers. Disabling all firewall port blocking fixes it. Re-enable port blocking on ALL ports for security while forgetting to leave open SSH so we can get into the server.

yes, it has the "-nomaster" switch on, meaning it doesn't advertise itself. You can still find it on the usual address, though.

Yes rem - DD is back from the grave.

It is now a celeron 1.8 ghz/512 meg ram running red hat 9.


It will be running Natural Selection and Action Quake 2 servers.
